Hans is a partner at Soberman LLP, Chartered Accountants and Vice President of Soberman Inc. He concentrates on corporate reorganization, restructuring and recovery. With over 14 years of insolvency-related experience and wide ranging industry know-how in various sectors including manufacturing, finance, distribution, real estate and retail, Hans is well qualified to assist creditors, lenders and debtors through the complexities of insolvency proceedings.

Hans provides consulting services to secured creditors regarding their enforcement rights and maximizing recovery. A number of his recent engagements have resulted in complete recovery of amounts owed to clients.

Hans also consults on shareholder and stakeholder disputes, as well as landlord-tenant matters, providing litigation support and risk management services. In a recent non-insolvency shareholder dispute, Hans was instrumental in assisting the client's legal team to obtain a favourable multi-million dollar judgment.

Hans is well known in the insolvency community for his insightful and practical analysis, keen strategic mind and forensic skills. He regularly speaks on insolvency, accounting and legal topics in seminars and also mentors a number of students through the National Insolvency Qualification Programme (NIQP).
